The Waterloo Store, also known as Head Office opened in 1980. It took a while to get a toehold in the Waterloo market, but once we were accepted, we were off to the races. Over the years we have gained the respect and loyalty of many customers. We provide friendly customer service and our staff is willing to help you find what you need to start or finish a project.
With our unique and central location, being on the border of Kitchener and Waterloo, we are able to effectively cater to both cities. We are within walking distance of King Street, in which the main bus line travels.
K/W as it is commonly referred to be known for it's historic past and German influence. Up until 1916 Kitchener was known as Berlin. Today K/W is host to the 2nd largest Oktoberfest celebration in the world. This event attracts many tourists to the area.
Not only have the Germans provided a rich history, but so have the Mennonites. The Mennonites have displayed their brilliant ability to piece together fabric to create a work of art. Each May many gather for the Waterloo County Quilt Festival. You may view many quilts hung throughout our store. With our huge selection of quilting prints and supplies, it is easy to understand why we are the best fabric store in the area.
Not only do we have a huge selection of fabrics, we also have yarns, crafts, and clothing and grocery items. You can find everything from “I haven't seen that since l was a kid" to "Wow, they have the latest fashions in clothing" to " This store has everything".
